Ingredients
- 8 oz dry cider ((hard cider))
- 1/4 orange, cut into quarters
- 2 tbsp white sugar
- 2 allspice berries
- 1/2 cinnamon stick
- 1/2 star anise pod
- 1 oz brandy
- Orange and apple slices, cinammon stick for garnish
Instructions
- Combine the dry cider, oranges, white sugar, allspice berries, cinnamon stick, and star anise pod in a pan.
- Cover with a lid and heat gently, bringing the cider to a simmer.
- Allow the mixture to simmer for 15 minutes.
- Stir in the brandy.
- Serve in heat-proof glasses and garnish with slices of orange, apple, and a piece of cinnamon stick.
