Infused with the healing powers of echinacea, ginger, and honey, this cocktail offers a soothing and revitalizing experience. Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh ginger
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 0.50 oz green Chartreuse liqueur
  • 0.50 oz unaged grappa (such as Nardini) or other white spirit
  • 0.25 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 0.25 oz liquid echinacea extract
  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters
  • 1 cinnamon stick

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, bring ginger, honey, and 6 oz. water to a simmer, stirring to dissolve honey; remove from heat and let steep for 5 minutes.
  2. Combine Chartreuse, grappa, lemon juice, echinacea extract, and bitters in a warm mug.
  3. Strain the ginger infusion into the mug.
  4. Garnish with a cinnamon stick.
