Ingredients

  • 1 small cinnamon stick
  • 2 oz blended Scotch whisky
  • 0.85 oz cold brew coffee or cooled espresso
  • 1 tbsp. maple syrup
  • Dash angostura bitters
  • Few ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Place a martini glass in the freezer for 10 minutes.
  2. Light one end of the cinnamon stick with a gas flame. Once the flame goes out, let it cool.
  3. Take the chilled glass from the freezer and prepare the remaining ingredients in a sealed cocktail shaker or a jam jar with a lid.
  4. Shake the ingredients well and strain the mixture into the glass.
  5. Finely grate over some of the unburnt end of the cinnamon stick, then float the stick in the glass before serving.
