Ingredients

  • 1/4 box black cherry gelatin
  • 1/4 envelope unflavored gelatin (optional)
  • 1/4 cup boiling water
  • 2 2/3 tsp Creme de Cacao
  • 1/8 cup cold coffee
  • 1 maraschino cherry with stem
  • 1/5 oz whipped cream
  • 1/3 oz chocolate syrup

Instructions

  1. Place water in a microwave-safe measuring cup and microwave until it begins to boil.
  2. Pour the black cherry gelatin into a large container and add the hot water, stirring until dissolved.
  3. Measure the creme de cacao and coffee, and add them to the jello mixture, stirring to combine.
  4. Arrange a small disposable cup in a container to prevent spills.
  5. Pour an equal amount of jello into each cup and place the container in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours.
  6. When ready to serve, shake the can of whipped cream well and invert it over each cup, then spray a small dollop of whipped cream on top.
  7. Drizzle about a teaspoon of chocolate syrup over the whipped cream and top with a maraschino cherry.
