Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup flan mix
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • lime zest
  • 2 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tbsp rum

Instructions

  1. In a medium pot over medium heat, combine the flan mix, whole milk, cinnamon stick, nutmeg, and lime zest. Stir constantly and cook for about 5 minutes until the mixture thickens.
  2. Turn off the heat and let the mixture sit for 10 minutes. Remove the cinnamon stick and refrigerate for 2 hours until set.
  3. Once chilled, blend the curdled flan, condensed milk, and rum until well combined.
  4. Using a funnel, transfer the eggnog to a glass bottle, cover, and refrigerate.
