Ingredients
- 1/3 cup flan mix
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1 cinnamon stick
- lime zest
- 2 oz sweetened condensed milk
- 2 tbsp rum
Instructions
- In a medium pot over medium heat, combine the flan mix, whole milk, cinnamon stick, nutmeg, and lime zest. Stir constantly and cook for about 5 minutes until the mixture thickens.
- Turn off the heat and let the mixture sit for 10 minutes. Remove the cinnamon stick and refrigerate for 2 hours until set.
- Once chilled, blend the curdled flan, condensed milk, and rum until well combined.
- Using a funnel, transfer the eggnog to a glass bottle, cover, and refrigerate.
