Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • 100g brown sugar
  • 1 pineapple, skin removed and cut into pieces
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2 cloves

Instructions

  1. Remove the skin from the pineapple and cut it into pieces.
  2. Place the pineapple skin, brown sugar, cinnamon stick, and cloves in a large jar.
  3. Pour 2 cups of water into the jar, ensuring the ingredients are fully covered.
  4. Seal the jar tightly and shake it gently to mix the contents.
  5. Leave the jar at room temperature for 4 to 5 days, shaking it 3 times a day to aid fermentation.
  6. Once a layer of foam forms on the surface, the drink is ready to be filtered.
  7. Filter the liquid into a sealable bottle, then leave it at room temperature for 12 hours to achieve a sparkling texture.
