Ingredients
- 1 cup filtered water
- 1 black tea bag (or mango flavored black tea bag)
- ice
- 2.50 ounces whiskey
- 2 ounces mango juice (or pureed mango)
- 0.50 ounce orange juice (or orange liquor)
- 0.50-1 tablespoon sugar (like monk fruit, xylitol, or honey. Can also use a few drops of liquid Stevia to sweeten)
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- fresh mint (optional garnish)
Instructions
- Boil water in a kettle over high heat.
- Remove from the heat and transfer the water to a heatproof pitcher or vessel.
- Add the tea bag and let it steep for 10 minutes.
- Discard the tea bag and let the hot tea cool down to room temperature.
- Using a cocktail shaker, fill it halfway with ice.
- Add the whiskey, mango juice, vanilla, orange juice, and sugar.
- Shake vigorously to combine and chill.
- Transfer to a highball glass filled with ice and garnish with fresh mint (optional).
