Ingredients

  • 1.50 oz lambanog, preferably Infanta
  • 1 oz Aquavit, preferably Ahus
  • 0.75 oz lychee syrup (see Editor's Note)
  • 0.50 oz lime juice
  • 0.90 oz full-fat coconut milk

Instructions

  1. In a large container, combine the lambanog, Aquavit, lychee syrup, and lime juice to create the cocktail mixture.
  2. In another large container, pour the coconut milk, then add the cocktail mixture and stir well. Let the mixture rest for 30 minutes.
  3. Line a large chinois with a clean kitchen napkin, and place it inside a large container. Slowly pour the mixture through the chinois, allowing it to strain thoroughly.
  4. Transfer the clarified cocktail into a reusable bottle and refrigerate until ready to serve.
  5. When ready to serve, pour 3 ounces of the mixture into a mixing glass with ice, then strain it into a rocks glass over a large ice cube.
  6. Garnish the cocktail with a spritz of pinipig tincture and an orchid for an elegant presentation.
