Ingredients

  • 1 thickly sliced orange wheel
  • 1/3 lemon
  • 1 3/4 oz vodka
  • 1 oz Aperol
  • 2 3/4 oz freshly squeezed orange juice
  • Club soda, to top
  • Garnish: thyme sprig
  • Garnish: orange wheel

Instructions

  1. Gently muddle the thickly sliced orange wheel at the bottom of a pitcher.
  2. Squeeze the lemon into the pitcher, then discard the shell.
  3. Add the vodka, Aperol, and freshly squeezed orange juice to the pitcher, and fill with large ice cubes.
  4. Top with club soda and gently stir to combine.
  5. Garnish the pitcher with thyme sprigs and orange wheels.
  6. Serve in a Collins glass, and garnish with a thyme sprig and orange wheel.
