Ingredients

  • 3.50 oz milk chocolate
  • 2 teaspoons instant coffee granules
  • 3 tablespoons hot water
  • 10.60 oz evaporated milk (7.5% fat)
  • 7 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 14 oz half and half
  • 10.50 oz whiskey

Instructions

  1. Roughly chop the milk chocolate and then grate it until finely chopped.
  2. In a bowl, dissolve the instant coffee granules in hot water and mix with a portion of the evaporated milk. Heat to 122 degrees Fahrenheit for 3 minutes to melt the chocolate, ensuring the coffee is completely dissolved.
  3. Add the remaining evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk, half and half, and whiskey to the melted chocolate mixture.
  4. Mix slowly for about 30 seconds, starting at a low speed and gradually increasing to blend the ingredients.
  5. Pour the creamy mixture into sterilized bottles and refrigerate to chill.
