The Oolong Mezcal Milk Punch
A rich and creamy cocktail inspired by the White Russian, featuring mezcal, oolong tea, coffee liqueur, and anejo tequila.
Ingredients
- 1 oz mezcal
- 1/2 tsp loose leaf Wuyi Oolong Tea
- 1.50 oz coffee liqueur
- 1.25 oz vanilla syrup
- 1.50 oz whole milk
- 3 oz anejo tequila
- 1/2 oz Ancho Reyes
- 1 dash Angostura bitters
Instructions
- Combine mezcal, oolong tea, coffee liqueur, vanilla syrup, whole milk, anejo tequila, and Ancho Reyes in a mixing glass.
- Let the mixture rest for 30 minutes to infuse the flavors.
- Strain the mixture through a coffee filter lined with cheesecloth to clarify the punch.
- Pour 3 ounces of the clarified punch into a coffee mug or rocks glass over a large ice cube.
- Stir for 15 revolutions.
- Add a dash of Angostura bitters.
