Ingredients

  • 3 strawberries
  • 1/4 oz lemon juice
  • 3/4 oz maple syrup
  • 2 oz TX Blended Whiskey
  • Crushed ice
  • Sprite
  • Fresh mint for garnish

Instructions

  1. Rinse and dry the strawberries, then remove the tops of 2 berries.
  2. Slice two strawberries and place them in an old fashioned glass.
  3. Add lemon juice and maple syrup to the glass with the sliced strawberries.
  4. Muddle the strawberries until well mashed.
  5. Add the whiskey and fill the glass about 3/4 full with crushed ice.
  6. Top with Sprite.
  7. Stir well.
  8. Garnish with the remaining strawberry and a sprig of mint if desired.
