Ingredients
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 teaspoon pure almond extract
- 1/8 teaspoon orange blossom water
- 3 ounces blanco tequila
- 1 1/2 ounces Aperol
- 1 ounce fresh lime juice
- 1 ounce almond simple syrup
- Crushed ice
- Tajin, for garnish
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, simmer sugar and water until the sugar dissolves to make the almond simple syrup. Stir in almond extract and orange blossom water, then let it cool.
- Fill two rocks glasses or stemless tulip glasses with crushed ice.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine tequila, Aperol, lime juice, and almond syrup. Fill the shaker with ice, secure the lid, and shake vigorously until thoroughly chilled.
