Ingredients

  • 4 blackberries
  • 2 oz. gin
  • 1 oz. fresh lemon juice
  • 3/4 oz. Rosemary Thyme syrup
  • 1 small rosemary sprig (optional)
  • Rosemary Thyme syrup
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 fresh rosemary sprigs
  • 5 fresh thyme sprigs

Instructions

  1. Crush 8 ice cubes into pieces about 1/2 inch big. Store in the freezer until ready to use.
  2. Place the blackberries in the bottom of a rocks glass and smash them with a muddler or the back of a spoon.
  3. In a cocktail shaker, combine the gin, lemon juice, and Rosemary Thyme syrup.
  4. Add ice to cover the liquids and shake for 30 seconds until the shaker is cold.
  5. Add the crushed ice to the glass with the smashed blackberries.
  6. Strain the cocktail over the blackberries.
  7. Garnish with a rosemary sprig.
