Ingredients
- 4 blackberries
- 2 oz. gin
- 1 oz. fresh lemon juice
- 3/4 oz. Rosemary Thyme syrup
- 1 small rosemary sprig (optional)
- Rosemary Thyme syrup
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 fresh rosemary sprigs
- 5 fresh thyme sprigs
Instructions
- Crush 8 ice cubes into pieces about 1/2 inch big. Store in the freezer until ready to use.
- Place the blackberries in the bottom of a rocks glass and smash them with a muddler or the back of a spoon.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine the gin, lemon juice, and Rosemary Thyme syrup.
- Add ice to cover the liquids and shake for 30 seconds until the shaker is cold.
- Add the crushed ice to the glass with the smashed blackberries.
- Strain the cocktail over the blackberries.
- Garnish with a rosemary sprig.
