Ingredients

  • 2 oz vodka
  • 1 red or green Thai chile, pierced with a knife
  • 1 tablespoon sugar, plus more for glass rim
  • 1 lime, cut into 4 wheels, plus 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 10 cilantro leaves
  • 3 tablespoons sweetened cream of coconut

Instructions

  1. In a jar, combine vodka and chile, and let it sit covered for 2-24 hours.
  2. Discard the chile and prepare the glass rims by moistening them with lime and dipping them into sugar.
  3. Muddle 4 lime wheels, 1 tablespoon sugar, and 10 cilantro leaves in a cocktail shaker.
  4. Fill the shaker with ice and add chile vodka, cream of coconut, and lime juice.
  5. Cover and shake vigorously for 20 times.
  6. Strain into the prepared glass and garnish with fresh cilantro leaves.
