Ingredients
- 8 oz. Horse Soldier bourbon
- 1 Hy-Vee chai black tea bag
- 4 oz. ginger beer
- 0.50 oz. simple syrup
- 0.50 oz. fresh lemon juice
- 1 dash of orange bitters
- Cinnamon sticks, for garnish
Instructions
- Gently warm the bourbon in a small saucepan over very low heat, then remove from heat. Add the tea bag and steep for 10 minutes. Allow the mixture to cool.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 oz. of chai tea-infused whiskey, ginger beer, simple syrup, fresh lemon juice, and orange bitters.
- Cover the shaker and shake until well combined and chilled. Strain the mixture into an 8-oz. ice-filled glass and garnish with cinnamon sticks.
