- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 2 star anise

- 4 cardamom pods, crushed
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 strips of orange peel
- 1 3/4 cups gin
- 1 oz spiced gin
- 1 oz Campari
- 1 oz sweet vermouth
- Star anise, cinnamon stick, and orange twist or wedge, for garnish
Instructions
- Combine the cinnamon sticks, star anise, cloves, crushed cardamom pods, bay leaves, orange peel, and gin in a clean mason jar.
- Allow the mixture to infuse for 24-36 hours, then strain out the spices to create the spiced gin.
- In a chunky, heavy-bottomed tumbler filled with ice, pour in the spiced gin, Campari, and sweet vermouth, each at 1 oz.
- Garnish the cocktail with a star anise, cinnamon stick, and an orange twist or wedge.
