Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup Cranberry Juice
  • 1/4 cup Apple Juice
  • 2 Tbsps Orange Juice
  • 1/2 tsp Honey
  • Orange slices
  • 1 Cinnamon stick
  • 1 Star Anise
  • 3 Cloves
  • 1 Bay leaf
  • 1/2 oz Dried Ginger
  • 1/4 tsp Orange zest (zested)
  • A small pinch of Nutmeg
  • 2 Cardamom pods

Instructions

  1. In a pot, combine honey and orange juice. Simmer until the mixture becomes syrupy.
  2. Add the mulling spices and all the fruit juices. Bring to a boil, then simmer for five minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and let it rest for 2 hours to allow the spices to infuse.
  4. Strain the mixture, reserving cinnamon stick, orange slices, and star anise for garnishing into the glasses.
  5. Ladle the elixir into glasses and add the reserved garnish before serving.
