Ingredients
- 3/4 cup Cranberry Juice
- 1/4 cup Apple Juice
- 2 Tbsps Orange Juice
- 1/2 tsp Honey
- Orange slices
- 1 Cinnamon stick
- 1 Star Anise
- 3 Cloves
- 1 Bay leaf
- 1/2 oz Dried Ginger
- 1/4 tsp Orange zest (zested)
- A small pinch of Nutmeg
- 2 Cardamom pods
Instructions
- In a pot, combine honey and orange juice. Simmer until the mixture becomes syrupy.
- Add the mulling spices and all the fruit juices. Bring to a boil, then simmer for five minutes.
- Remove from heat and let it rest for 2 hours to allow the spices to infuse.
- Strain the mixture, reserving cinnamon stick, orange slices, and star anise for garnishing into the glasses.
- Ladle the elixir into glasses and add the reserved garnish before serving.
