Ingredients

  • 3/4 oz Mezcal (Del Maguey Vida)
  • 3/4 oz Tequila (Don Julio Blanco)
  • 1/4 oz Maraschino Liqueur (Luxardo)
  • 2 strawberries
  • 2 basil leaves
  • 1/2 lime, quartered
  • 1 barspoon sugar

Instructions

  1. In a mixing tin, muddle sugar, limes, and strawberries.
  2. Add Mezcal, Tequila, and Maraschino Liqueur.
  3. Add ice and shake to chill and dilute.
  4. Fill a bucket glass with crushed ice, cubed strawberry pieces, and strips of basil.
  5. Double strain the cocktail into the prepared glass.
  6. Garnish with a sprig of basil.
