A smoky, sweet, and spicy mezcal cocktail with grilled pineapple, jalapeño, and cilantro for a unique twist on the classic margarita.
Ingredients
- 2 slices of grilled pineapple
- 1/4 jalapeño, sliced
- 5-6 cilantro leaves
- 3 oz mezcal
- 1 1/2 oz fresh lime juice
- 1 oz agave syrup
- Ice
Instructions
- Grill pineapple slices until charred on both sides, about 4 minutes. Let cool.
- In a shaker, muddle grilled pineapple, jalapeño, and cilantro.
- Add mezcal, lime juice, agave syrup, and ice to the shaker.
- Shake well and strain into a glass over fresh ice.
- Garnish with a grilled pineapple wedge and a jalapeño slice.
