A delightful fall twist on the classic margarita featuring apple cider, mezcal, and a hint of cinnamon.
Ingredients
- 1/2 teaspoon granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
- 1 lime wedge
- 2/3 cup apple cider
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- 2 1/2 ounces mezcal
- 1/2 ounce triple sec
- Cinnamon stick & apple slice for garnish
Instructions
- Mix sugar, cinnamon, and salt on a small plate.
- Rub the rim of an old-fashioned glass with the lime wedge and dip the rim into the sugar mixture to coat.
- Fill the glass with ice cubes.
- In a cocktail shaker with ice, combine apple cider, lime juice, mezcal, and triple sec. Shake well.
- Strain the mixture into the prepared glass.
- Garnish with a cinnamon stick and apple slice.
