Ingredients

  • 1 small mandarin orange
  • 1.50 oz bourbon
  • 2 dashes orange bitters
  • 1 small cinnamon stick
  • 3 oz Lambrusco (chilled)

Instructions

  1. Squeeze the juice of the mandarin orange into a cocktail shaker.
  2. Add the bourbon and orange bitters to the shaker, then add a large cube of ice and shake.
  3. Light the cinnamon stick until smoking using matches or a butane torch.
  4. Place a glass over the smoking cinnamon stick and let it fill with smoke.
  5. Flip the glass back only right before serving.
  6. Pour the mandarin bourbon mix into the glass.
  7. Top with a pour of the chilled Lambrusco.
  8. Garnish with a twist of mandarin orange and a mandarin orange leaf if available. Serve cold.
