Ingredients

  • 2 T. confectioners sugar
  • 1 tsp. water
  • 3 T. shredded sweetened coconut
  • 1 T. grenadine
  • Ginger ale
  • Lemon-lime soda (such as Sprite or 7-Up)
  • 2-3 maraschino cherries
  • 1 candy cane

Instructions

  1. Prepare the glass rim by dipping the rim of a glass in a mixture of confectioners sugar and water, then immediately dip it in shredded coconut.
  2. Fill the prepared glass with desired amount of ice.
  3. Add grenadine to the glass.
  4. Fill the remainder of the glass with half ginger ale and half lemon-lime soda.
  5. Garnish with 2-3 maraschino cherries and a candy cane.
