Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1/4 pomegranate
  • 1/4 apple, cored and thinly sliced
  • 1.50 oz seedless grapes
  • 3.50 oz red wine
  • 1/4 cup pure 100% pomegranate juice
  • 2 tbsp grape juice
  • 1/2 tbsp brandy
  • 1/2 tbsp triple sec

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine honey and 1/2 cup of water. Heat over medium, stirring constantly until the honey is completely dissolved into the water. Do not boil. Remove from heat and allow to cool. This creates the honey simple syrup.
  2. Seed the pomegranate and place the seeds into the bottom of your pitcher.
  3. Place the apple slices on top of the pomegranate seeds, followed by the grapes on top of the apple slices.
  4. Pour the red wine into the pitcher.
  5. Add the pomegranate juice, grape juice, brandy, triple sec, and honey simple syrup to the pitcher. Gently stir with a long-handled spoon to blend all the flavors together.
  6. Place the pitcher in the refrigerator to chill for at least 2 hours before serving. This will allow the flavors to blend. Stir again before serving.
