Ingredients

  • 3 roasted lemons
  • 3 fresh bay leaves
  • 1/2 cup superfine sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 6 tablespoons vodka
  • Ice
  • 6 tablespoons club soda
  • Lemon wheel for garnish
  • Bay leaf for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. Roast the lemon quarters and bay leaves in a small roasting pan for about 20 minutes until softened and browned.
  3. Scrape the roasted lemons, bay leaves, and any pan juices into a large pitcher.
  4. Add sugar, water, and vodka, then muddle with the lemons.
