Ingredients

  • 1-1 1/2 oz gin
  • 1/2 lime, squeezed
  • 4-6 cucumber slices
  • 1-2 teaspoons sugar (all natural, optional)
  • 6 mint leaves or 4 basil leaves
  • 4-6 oz tonic water (Indian tonic water)

Instructions

  1. In a Ball jar or cocktail shaker, muddle the mint/basil, lime, sugar, and gin to release the oils.
  2. Add cucumber slices and ice to the jar, then cover tightly and shake for 20-30 seconds.
  3. Pour the mixture into a glass and top with ice and tonic water.
  4. Stir gently, garnish with a sprig of basil or mint, a slice of cucumber, and a lime wedge if desired.
