Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp salt
  • 1/4 cup pomegranate juice, plus extra for rimming
  • 1.50 oz silver tequila (blanco)
  • 0.50 oz triple sec
  • 0.50 oz lime juice
  • 0.25 oz maple syrup
  • Ice
  • Lime slice and pomegranate seeds, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Spread the salt on a small plate. Pour a splash of pomegranate juice onto another small plate. Dip the rim of a glass in the pomegranate juice, then dip it in the salt to coat the rim.
  2. In a shaker, combine the pomegranate juice, tequila, triple sec, lime juice, maple syrup, and ice.
  3. Shake the mixture for 10-20 seconds to chill thoroughly.
  4. Strain the mixture into the prepared glass filled with ice.
  5. Garnish with a slice of lime and a few pomegranate seeds.
