Ingredients

  • 3 plums
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 cup white wine
  • 1/3 cup vodka
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Coarsely chop the plums and place them in a bowl, keeping the pits.
  2. Sprinkle the plums and pits with sugar and mix well. Let it sit for 30 minutes or until the sugar has dissolved.
  3. Transfer the plum mixture to a large airtight container and stir in the wine and vodka.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for 7 days to macerate.
  5. After 7 days, strain the mistelle.
  6. Serve in a glass over ice or mix 1 part mistelle with 2 parts bubbly wine to create a Plum Mist Fizz cocktail.
