Ingredients

  • 2 oz tequila
  • 1/2 oz Cointreau (or triple sec)
  • 1/2 oz fresh lime juice
  • 3/8 oz chile simple syrup (or regular simple syrup for a milder taste)
  • 3 oz pineapple juice
  • 1 half wheel fresh pineapple
  • Lime salt

Instructions

  1. Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice.
  2. Prepare the margarita glass with lime salt if desired.
  3. Add tequila, Cointreau, pineapple juice, lime juice, and simple syrup to the shaker.
  4. Add fresh ice to the margarita glass and shake the cocktail vigorously for 10 seconds.
  5. Strain the cocktail into the prepared margarita glass.
