Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tsp peppermint extract
  • 1 1/2 oz coffee liqueur
  • 1 oz vodka
  • 1 oz espresso
  • 1 oz peppermint simple syrup
  • Red and green sprinkles, for rimming the glass
  • Espresso beans, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, whisk together the sugar, water, and peppermint extract over low heat.
  2. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer and then remove it from the heat. Refrigerate until ready to use. This can be prepared up to a week in advance.
