Ingredients

  • 2 oz bourbon
  • 0.75 oz peach simple syrup
  • 2 dashes of peach bitters
  • 1-2 inch piece of fresh lemon peel
  • Fresh peach for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place a large ice cube in a rocks glass and set it aside.
  2. In a mixing glass filled halfway with ice cubes, combine bourbon, peach syrup, and 2 dashes of bitters.
  3. Stir the mixture until well chilled, about 10 seconds.
  4. Strain the mixture into the prepared rocks glass.
  5. Use a vegetable peeler to remove a long slice of peel from the lemon.
  6. Squeeze the lemon peel over the drink, allowing the citrus oil to express into the glass.
  7. Garnish with a slice of fresh peach.
