Ingredients

  • 1.50 ounces Pistachio Cream Liqueur
  • 1 ounce vanilla vodka
  • 0.25 ounce Benedictine
  • 4 drops hazelnut bitters
  • Absinthe, for rinse or spray

Instructions

  1. If garnishing the coupe with pistachios, crush 10-20 pistachios into small bits and use chocolate sauce or honey to stick the pistachio dust to the rim of the glass. Chill the coupe glass in the freezer or with ice.
  2. In a cocktail shaker with ice, combine the Pistachio liqueur, vanilla vodka, Benedictine, and Hazelnut bitters. Shake for at least 30 seconds.
  3. Remove the coupe from the freezer or discard the ice, then spray absinthe mist in the glass or coat the glass with a little absinthe and pour out the excess.
  4. Strain the cocktail into the coupe using a Hawthorne strainer. Add any desired garnishes.
