Ingredients
- 4 sprigs spearmint leaves (about 30 leaves)
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- Juice of 4 limes
- 1 1/2 oz white Bacardi rum
- 1/2 cup ice cubes
- 6 oz sparkling lime water (about 1/2 can)
Instructions
- Separate the mint leaves from the stems and grind them with sugar in a mortar and pestle until a paste forms.
- Transfer the mint paste into a glass.
- Squeeze the juice of 4 limes into the glass and add 1 1/2 oz of white rum. Stir well.
- Add ice cubes to fill half of the glass.
- Top with about 6 oz of sparkling lime water (adjust to taste).
