Ingredients
- 1 cup cubed refrigerated watermelon
- 2-3 sprigs of mint leaves
- Juice from 1/2 medium lime
- A pinch of sea salt
- 1/2 tsp chaat masala
- 2 oz white rum, coconut water, or club soda (optional)
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- In a blender, blend the watermelon until it turns into a juice consistency.
- Add the mint leaves, lime juice, sea salt, and chaat masala to the blender and blend again until well combined.
- Strain the mixture into a bowl, discard the pulp, and refrigerate the juice until ready to use.
- To prepare the glass rim, dampen the rim with a lime wedge and dip it into sea salt, then add a piece of watermelon and mint to the rim.
- Fill a glass with ice cubes.
- Pour 4 oz of the watermelon juice into the glass, followed by 1.5 oz of white rum, if using. Add an additional 2 oz of watermelon juice to fill the glass.
