Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup whole milk
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter (room temp)
  • 1 tablespoon packed brown sugar
  • 6 oz cream soda
  • 1/4 of a 3.40 oz box Butterscotch Instant Pudding
  • 1/2 tablespoon vanilla
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne
  • Whipped cream
  • Butterscotch sauce

Instructions

  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the whole milk, butter, and brown sugar.
  2. Whisk the mixture until well combined.
  3. Heat the mixture in the microwave for about 2-3 minutes until it is hot, but not boiling.
  4. Whisk again until the butter is melted and the sugar is dissolved.
  5. Pour in 3 oz of the cream soda and whisk.
  6. Add the butterscotch instant pudding, vanilla, ginger, and cayenne, and whisk until well combined.
  7. Pour in the remaining 3 oz of cream soda and mix thoroughly.
  8. Transfer the mixture into a crockpot set on high to keep it warm.
  9. Once served, top each cup with whipped cream and drizzle with butterscotch sauce.
