  • 1 1/2 ounces whiskey (Kentucky bourbon)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 maraschino cherries
  • 2 teaspoons maraschino cherry juice
