Ingredients
- 1 1/2 oz double cream
- 1 1/3 oz Irish whiskey (such as Redbreast 12 Year Old)
- 4 oz freshly brewed coffee
- 1 tsp demerara sugar
- Freshly grated nutmeg to serve
Instructions
- Gently whip the double cream in a bowl for about 1 minute until lightly whipped.
- Fill a glass with hot water, then discard. Add the whiskey, coffee, and sugar to the glass, stirring to combine. Adjust the coffee strength as desired by adding a little hot water.
- Hold a warmed tablespoon over the coffee, then gently pour the lightly whipped cream over the back of the spoon, allowing it to float on top.
