Ingredients

  • 1 lime
  • 1/4 Tbsp chia seeds
  • 1.50 cups water (room temperature)
  • 1 Tbsp brown sugar (or 1/4 cup agave syrup)
  • ice cubes
  • 1 lime or lemon (cut into slices)
  • mint leaves (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large pitcher, combine the room temperature water and squeeze the juice from the lime through a strainer into the pitcher.
  2. Add the brown sugar or agave syrup and stir until fully dissolved.
  3. Slowly sprinkle the chia seeds into the pitcher while vigorously whisking for 2 minutes to allow the seeds to soak well.
  4. Adjust the flavor by adding more lime juice or sugar to your preference.
  5. Fill a glass with ice and pour the Lime Chia Cooler.
