A delightful and aromatic cocktail with gin, lavender syrup, lemon juice, and champagne; beautifully balanced and perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 1 oz gin
- 0.50-1 oz lavender syrup (to taste)
- 0.50 oz lemon juice
- Champagne/sparkling wine/prosecco to top
- 1 lavender flower, to garnish
- LAVENDER SIMPLE SYRUP:
- 10 lavender flowers
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup sugar
- 6 frozen blueberries
Instructions
- To make the lavender simple syrup, combine the lavender flowers, water, sugar, and frozen blueberries in a small pot. Heat gently until the sugar has dissolved, then simmer for 10 minutes. Let it cool and strain the liquid (the syrup will last refrigerated for up to a week).
- In an ice-filled cocktail shaker, add the gin, lavender simple syrup, and lemon juice. Shake well.
- Place a lavender flower into a champagne flute, pour in the lavender syrup, and top with bubbles.
