Ingredients

  • 1.50 oz Gin
  • 1 oz Sweet Vermouth
  • 2 dashes Orange bitters
  • 1 Orange zest

Instructions

  1. Zest an orange for garnish.
  2. Fill both a martini glass and a mixing glass with ice cubes.
  3. Pour the gin, sweet vermouth, and orange bitters into the mixing glass with ice.
  4. Stir the mixture with a bar spoon for approximately 17 seconds.
  5. Empty the ice from the martini glass back into the ice bucket. Place a julep strainer inside the mixing glass and pour the liquid smoothly from the mixing glass around the martini glass.
  6. Lightly zest the orange peel over the surface of the drink and place it in the glass.
