Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 1/2 teaspoons hibiscus powder
- 1 1/2 tablespoons fresh squeezed lemon juice (about 1/2 to 1 lemon)

Instructions
- Create the hibiscus simple syrup. Combine 2 tablespoons water, 2 tablespoons sugar, and 1 ½ teaspoons hibiscus powder in a saucepan. Simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for 2 to 3 minutes. Let it cool.
