Ingredients
- 3 medium tomatillos
- 3 medium green tomatoes
- 1 1/2 cups cold filtered water
- 1 stalk celery
- 1/4 cup cilantro leaves
- 2 tbsp Don Victor(r) Green Piquin Hot Sauce
- 1/2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 tsp ground cumin
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- 1 lime wedge
- 1/8 cup Kosher salt
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 1/2 oz vodka
- Ice
Instructions
- Quarter the tomatillos and tomatoes, then place them in a blender.
- Add water, celery, cilantro, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, cumin, salt, and pepper to the blender.
- Blend until well pureed, adjusting water as needed for desired consistency.
- Chill the mix until ready to serve or prepare immediately.
- Combine kosher salt and chili powder in a small rimmed dish.
- Rub the lime wedge around the edge of a serving glass and dip it into the salt mixture.
- Pour the virgin homemade green Bloody Mary mix into the prepared glass, or add vodka and ice to make a cocktail.
- Optional: garnish with celery, olives, lime, or other veggies.
