Ingredients
- 1-2 ounces gingerbread syrup
- 1 ounce vodka
- 2 ounces half and half
- 1/2 ounce Kahlua
- ice
- 1-2 teaspoons vanilla frosting
- 2-3 Tablespoons festive sprinkles
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup water
- 2 Tablespoons molasses
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
- If making your own gingerbread syrup: In a medium saucepan, heat water and sugar over medium heat, whisking together until it becomes steamy and sugar dissolves. Add molasses, ground ginger, and cinnamon. Continue whisking 2-3 minutes more until ingredients are combined and everything is dissolved together.
- To rim the glass, add a few Tablespoons of Christmas sprinkles to a shallow saucer. Using a butter knife, spread a thin layer of frosting to the rim of the glass. Dip the frosting layer into the sprinkles.
- Fill the glass halfway with ice, followed by the vodka, half and half, Kahula, and 1-2 ounces of gingerbread syrup, to taste.
- Give the drink a gentle stir to combine, then enjoy!
