Ingredients

  • 1-2 ounces gingerbread syrup
  • 1 ounce vodka
  • 2 ounces half and half
  • 1/2 ounce Kahlua
  • ice
  • 1-2 teaspoons vanilla frosting
  • 2-3 Tablespoons festive sprinkles
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 Tablespoons molasses
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. If making your own gingerbread syrup: In a medium saucepan, heat water and sugar over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves and the mixture becomes steamy. Add molasses, ground ginger, and cinnamon, and continue stirring for 2-3 minutes until everything is dissolved and well combined.
  2. To rim the glass, spread a thin layer of frosting on the rim using a butter knife, then dip the frosting into the Christmas sprinkles in a shallow saucer.
  3. Fill the glass halfway with ice, then add the vodka, half and half, Kahlua, and 1-2 ounces of gingerbread syrup, to your taste.
