Ingredients

  • 0.25 cup dried hibiscus petals
  • 1.50 cups boiling water
  • 0.50 cup fresh lime juice
  • 0.50 cup ginger liqueur (such as Domaine de Canton)
  • 0.50 cup ginger beer
  • 1 sprig fresh mint for garnish
  • fresh ginger, peeled and thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. Steep hibiscus petals in boiling water for 5 minutes
  2. Strain the mixture into a heatproof bowl set in a bowl of ice to speed cooling
  3. Cool completely
  4. Transfer to a small pitcher
  5. Stir in lime juice and ginger liqueur
  6. Pour into an ice-filled Collins glass
  7. Top with ginger beer
  8. Garnish with mint and ginger slices
