Ingredients
- 3 oz vine-ripe tomatoes, cut into wedges
- 2 1/4 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
- 3/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 to 1 teaspoon prepared horseradish
- 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon hot sauce (or to taste), such as Tabasco
- 1/8 teaspoon celery seeds
- Pinch of coarse salt and freshly ground pepper
- 3/8 cup canned tomato juice
- 1/4 cup chilled vodka
- Garnish: pickled okra and lemon wedge
Instructions
- Freeze tomato wedges for at least 4 hours.
- In a blender, puree tomatoes, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, horseradish, hot sauce, celery seeds, a pinch of salt, and a pinch of pepper until smooth.
- Stir in tomato juice and vodka until well combined.
