Ingredients
- 5 oz rosé wine
- 1 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 1 1/2 tbsp water
- 2 medium strawberries, hulled and quartered
- 1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 cup ice
Instructions
- Pour the rosé into a large, lipped sheet pan and freeze for at least 6 hours.
- Boil water, add sugar, and stir until dissolved to make simple syrup.
- Add the strawberries to the simple syrup and let sit for 30 minutes to infuse the syrup with flavor.
- Strain the strawberry syrup through a sieve, saving the strained strawberries for later.
- Chill the syrup for 30 minutes.
