Ingredients

  • 5 oz rosé wine
  • 1 1/2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 1/2 tbsp water
  • 2 medium strawberries, hulled and quartered
  • 1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup ice

Instructions

  1. Pour the rosé into a large, lipped sheet pan and freeze for at least 6 hours.
  2. Boil water, add sugar, and stir until dissolved to make simple syrup.
  3. Add the strawberries to the simple syrup and let sit for 30 minutes to infuse the syrup with flavor.
  4. Strain the strawberry syrup through a sieve, saving the strained strawberries for later.
  5. Chill the syrup for 30 minutes.
  6. In a blender, combine 3 oz of strawberry syrup, lemon juice, ice, and the frozen wine.
  7. Blend until smooth and serve.
