Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 oz. strawberry Jell-O powder
  • 5 oz. pineapple juice (canned)
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup pulp-free orange juice
  • 1 cup lemon-lime soda (chilled)

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the sugar, water, and Jell-O powder. Bring to a boil and let it simmer for 3 minutes.
  2. Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the pineapple juice, lemon juice, and orange juice.
  3. Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container and freeze overnight.
  4. 2 to 5 hours before serving, transfer the frozen juice to the refrigerator to thaw slightly.
  5. In a large punch bowl, combine half of the frozen juice with the chilled soda, using a fork to flake the ice to a slushy consistency.
  6. Repeat with the remaining juice and soda as needed.
