Ingredients
- 3 fresh basil leaves
- 2 slices navel orange
- 3 oz Dubonnet Rouge or other sweet fortified red wine, chilled
- Ice
- 2 oz seltzer, chilled
Instructions
- In a glass, gently muddle the basil and orange with a spoon until the basil is barely bruised but fragrant.
- Stir in the chilled wine and let it sit for at least 15 minutes and up to 2 hours.
- Fill the glass with ice.
- Top off with chilled seltzer and stir gently.
