Ingredients
- 1 large tomato
- 1/4 cup fresh basil
- 1/2 tablespoon sea salt
- 3/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon chipotle powder
- 3 tablespoons horseradish
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 ounce vodka
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- Cut the large tomato into quarters.
- Use a juicer to extract the juice from the tomato.
- In a blender or food processor, combine the tomato juice, basil, sea salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and chipotle powder until well-combined.
- Pour the mixture into a pitcher and stir in the horseradish and lemon juice.
- Use a mesh strainer to separate the liquid from the pulp, reserving the liquid for the cocktail.
